Our Mission
The mission of Send The Light is to look after orphans and widows in their distress and keep oneself humble.

Although Send The Light supports many charitable efforts in India, we have three areas that we provide ongoing funds for:
The Mobile Eye & Medical Clinics
This is a picture of the mobile Eye Clinic that travels to rural India to aid the people who need an eye doctor. We also support a mobile Medical Clinic that travels to villages to treat the sick. Most of the villagers do not have cars, bikes, or money for a taxi ride to the hospitals. They live in the country and it would take them several days to walk to a city to see a doctor. Many rural Indians live a miserable life without the convenience of doctors, eye doctors, or dentists. This mission is an ongoing, monthly effort. Orphanages
The children in this picture desperately need our help. Their current housing is grosly inadequate. The minister who is watching over them is leasing a space in a run down apartment complex for the children to live in. Please consider making a donation to help raise funds to build an orphanage. It will cost $13,000.00 US to buy land and build a safe, dry home for these children. Doug is currently searching for a good location to began the building process. General Fund
Send The Light's General Fund supports many, many needs within the Indian communities. Wheelchairs & crutches for the crippled, sewing machines & goats for widows who need to make a living to support themselves, basic needs like rice and clean water for orphans, new shoes for children, Bibles, bicycles as means for main transportation, ministers & orphans who have any minor medical needs, repairs for taxis that the ministers use to make a living while in Bible College...the list goes on and on.
