What Happens To My Donation?
When you find it in your heart to join us and donate to the poor in India through Send The Light, there are many needs that your money will meet. Some examples of how donations are spent include the following needs:
- $3 provide clothes, rice and groceries to one person
- $83 purchase a wheelchair
- $150 purchase a sewing machine for a widow to support herself
- $944 repair the bus used for administering medical help
- $4,800 reconstruct a fallen wall in the orphanage
- $13,000 build a safe, dry orphanage for 15 children
Of course, there are many, many other needs that can be met with your wonderful donations.
